The Single Wire Seal (SWS) is a rubber element with three interfaces: wire, contact and cavity. The cavity plug is used to seal the cavity where the contact is not used. The geometric profile is derived exactly from the single wire seal element, except that it does not have a bore for the wire.
Chamber plugs - hardness range from 50 to 60
Seals to wire interface - multiple sealing surfaces
Seals contact interface - contact barrel closes and keeps single wire seal from creating a cut in the surface
Seals the cavity interface - most single wire seal designs use a triple lip configuration to create a triple redundant seal
